Ministry in the Congo

Home to 216,000 Mennonites, historical patterns of abuse define much of Congo today.

What began over 100 years ago with abuse of people and power coupled with exploitation of valuable natural resources by foreign countries has set in motion a cycle that continues today. Mennonite Church Canada is working with two other North American partners in pastoral leadership development and teaching effective church organization and management skills to help local congregations help themselves.
