Learning in Canada

Excitement is growing for a new, national ministry in partnership with Canada’s Aboriginal communities. Decades of persistent relationship building with Canada’s First Nations has seen the development of Mennonite church plants in places like Cross Lake and Matheson Island, Manitoba. This past fall, Riverton Community Fellowship celebrated its 10th anniversary, with local leader Barb Daniels leading worship. Two years ago this congregation chose to join Mennonite Church Manitoba. Seeds for similar church and faith development are being planted in Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, and Eastern Canada. You can be part of this exciting ministry and walk along side our Aboriginal neighbours in faithful commitment to God’s mission of making all people God’s people.
