Learning in Latin America

The urgent request from many of our Latin American friends is for Anabaptist theological books. Recently, Jack Suderman, General Secretary, and Janet Plenert, Executive Secretary for Witness, brought suitcases of books to Cuba which were eagerly snatched by local pastors. In Chile, church leaders have asked for 2,000 copies of the book Radical Co-existence: Spirituality for the 21st Century. Author John Driver is a Mennonite theology author who has written several additional and influential titles in Spanish. Your gift of $20 places a John Driver book in the hands of as many as eight leaders which may shape a whole church for generations to come. In Brazil, a new Mennonite congregation is being planted and needs some funds to help start its evangelism ministry in the community. Mennonite Church Canada Witness has committed $2,500 to help – will you partner with us with a $500 gift?
