Ukraine - Learning to Love

Kids in the Ukraine enjoy camp activities just as much as kids in North America. The difference is that few children in Ukraine ever get a chance to go to camp. Cliff Dueck’s ministry in economically challenged Ukraine is trying to change that. In summer, Cliff, his wife Natasha, and local ministry workers offer a day camp for kids age 12-16 that introduces them to God’s love for the first time.

Kids who would otherwise be locked out of their apartment from morning until a parent returns from work, can engage in Jesus’ teaching through crafts, sports, music, puppetry and more. During the course of the day they are nourished with lunch, snacks, and age appropriate spiritual food they would otherwise not get. These experiences often lead to continued involvement in the local Sunday school and mentoring relationships with adults. Your gift can help a child go to camp for one week this summer in Ukraine, and invite them into a life long relationship with Jesus Christ.
